The location of the venue will be the waterfront site on Doha’s shore.The launch of the design of Ras Abu Aboud Stadium follows the design launch of Al Thumama Stadium in August 2017 and the completion of Khalifa International Stadium for the Emir Cup Final 2017 in May. Ras Abu Aboud Stadium is one of eight proposed host venues for the World Cup.Qatar has put a massive workforce of about 2 million migrant workers from Asia in the contruction of stadiums, hotels and transport projected linked with the 2022 World Cup.On the footballing front, Qatar will be participating in the 2022 FIFA World Cup by virtue of being the hosts but failed to make it to the big stage of 2018 through qualification.
